Our customer base was 2,500 council staff based across 65 locations and sites. We took approximately 120 calls per day. I implemented a flexible support structure that saw a 50% increase on first time fixes. |
January 2008 – September 2008 | Project Manager | Project Management of two DR failover exercises for the Council's SAP and middleware applications. This included liaison with test teams, Capita support staff and the creation of a location to access the applications outside of the Council's network. Installation of increased resilience to the computer room through the addition of an extra UPS unit, an extra air cooling unit and a dedicated generator - all of which was installed whilst the computer room was live. I researched and presented opportunities for the Council’s ICT Business Continuity plans, which involved working with key stakeholders and third party vendors (to identify feasible and realistic options). |
